Fieldview Country Apartment is just outside of the market town Beccles (8 min drive) and is fabulously located for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The charming seaside town of Southwold and Georgian village of Walberswick are a 25 minute drive away. Norwich is a 30 minute drive and also accessible by bus. Lots to do with children! Enjoy many a walk around the countryside lanes from the site. There are many fabulous farm shops nearby to purchase local produce. The Cottage has a large bedroom upstairs with a king size bed. There is plenty of space for a travel cot and there are two single futon beds if you were planning on bringing little ones. Downstairs there is an open plan recently renovated kitchen/lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and there is private parking just outside of the apartment. There is also a brand new shower room downstairs. Please note there is currently no TV downstairs (pending delivery) but there is one upstairs. The cottage is separate but on the grounds of house and our intimate camping/glamping site 'The Wildings at Elms Meadow'. We are passionate about biodiversity and the environment and providing a space for guest to reconnect with nature. Much of our meadow is left to grow wild and we've tried to create diverse habitats to encourage biodiversity. Whilst Fieldview DOES NOT have it's own private outdoor space, guests are more than welcome to walk around the site, there are lots of areas for little ones to explore including a wooden playhouse. You are also welcome to use our front field to have a fire or bbq in when it is not in use. We ask that guests to be respectful of the plants and wildlife.

We are Anissa and Kevin Connor, we live with our three children in the main house at Waveney Lodge, Elms Road. We moved here in 2021 with the aim of setting up a small holiday business, offering glamping, camping and holiday cottages in our small slice of countryside. We’re passionate about creating a special place where people can come reconnect with nature. We try to let the site establish a natural wilding feel with small cubby hole areas to explore and children to play. Quite a bit of our meadow is purposely left to be wild to maximise biodiversity. We are delighted to welcome you and will do everything we can to make your stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. We are happy to advise and assist you in any way that we can before, during or after your stay.
