Sunrise Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and dining seating for four people and a sitting room with woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link) and twin (zip/link), serviced by a bathroom. You'll find a shop in 1.3 miles and pub in 2.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, rear enclosed garden with patio, lawn, barbecue, and furniture, and private parking for one car with roadside parking available. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. A stay at Sunrise Cottage promises to be one to remember. Note: Parking is on a narrow road for one car - alternative parking a short walk down the lane. Note: Step up into kitchen/diner. A civil parish and village resting in the heart of Cornwall, St Mabyn can be found sitting in close reach of both the coast and countryside delights of the county. A picturesque village, the area is also home to the hamlet of Longstone. with its name deriving from a standing stone which was broken up for gateposts around the year 1850, as well as manor houses including Tregarden, Tredethy, Helligan Barton and Colquite, there's plenty of scenic wonder to be discovered in the area. The village is host to a modest selection of amenities, including the St Mabyn Inn serving good food and drink, as well as there being a Post Office and general store, perfect for any self-catered getaway. A wider host of wonderful amenities and attractions can be found in close reach, including Pencarrow House & Gardens sitting on the fringes of Bodmin Moor, it's a Cornish Georgian delight offering 50 acres to explore as well as the house boasting beautiful art and antiques, it's well-worth a visit. Venture to the centre of Bodmin, where you can find the even more spectacular tourist attraction of the Lanhydrock National Trust, a late Victorian country house with gardens and a wooded estate to explore, or choose to unravel the history of the town at Bodmin Jail and Cornwall's Regimental Museum. The town also offers plenty of walking routes, including routes to the spectacle of the Bodmin Beacon, the Camel Trail and Tamar Valley, as well as the national forest of Cardinham Woods being perfect for a leisurely stroll. Visit the coast of Padstow to find even more enticing history surrounding its maritime past, as well as sea life safaris and a wide selection of waterfront restaurants to choose from. In easy reach of many of Cornwall's beautiful beaches including Polzeath, Par Sands and Fistral, St Mabyn is ideally situated for exploring the many wonders of this captivating region of England.
