Swallows Nest is one of 2 family run cottages on the grounds of our own home. We have dogs of our own and consider the property as the ideal holiday base for dog owning groups or families.

Swallows Nest is a delightful 3 bedroom converted barn sleeping 7 people, it has an open plan ground floor with lounge, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs are, 1 double, 1 single and 1 family bedroom with a double bed and two singles. Outside is a enclosed garden, patio area and off road parking. We are dog friendly and guests have access to our large field for on-lead walks. Guests also have access to a shared games room and climbing frame. Guests needing more bedrooms should look at our adjoining cottage Swifts Nest. Both cottages can be booked together. We are in the beautiful North Devon countryside just 10 miles from the sandy beaches at Bude - guests can borrow windbreaks and beach toys from us. We welcome up to 3 dogs free of charge - additional dogs may be permitted subject to prior approval and a charge may be added. Although we are in the country, we are situated on the main road to Bideford and offer easy access to a number of attractions both local and further afield. Private transport is a must, as we are out of town and there are no pavements for safe walking. We have both chickens and bees on the property (located at least 100m from the cottage), so guests can buy eggs and honey if they wish. We welcome people travelling for work - we have off-road parking suitable for 2 Transit Vans

Holsworthy is a market town in North Devon, offering all the facilities you may need: shops, pubs etc. Nearby is the resort of Bude with its beautiful beaches or the Tamar lakes where you can take part in water sports or just walk or cycle. There are numerous family friendly attractions nearby. Private transport is advised although there are public bus links in Holsworthy.
