What makes Swan Cottage particularly appealing is its proximity to attractions, allowing guests to conveniently explore the town on foot. Barnard Castle is surrounded by magnificent countryside, offering numerous public footpaths, established walks, and cycle paths that lead alongside the River Tees and into the picturesque rolling landscapes. The town is home to the impressive Bowes Museum and the captivating ruins of its castle, providing stunning views over the River Tees and the surrounding area.
