A quiet idyllic setting but only 5 mins from the train, Exeter airport & main arterial road links (M5/A30/A38). Exeter Cathedral is 20 mins & Dartmoor & the Jurassic Coast under 30.

As we also live on site, we are available to help with your stay whenever we can while respecting your privacy. A wide array of local take away food is deliverable and we’ll leave you some leaflets with our suggestions together with some other ideas of local things to see and do but please ask if you want some other local knowledge. If you need a transfer to or from Cranbrook train station or Exeter International Airport we’ll be happy to help but please mention it as soon as you book. We look forward to meeting you!

Exeter is a cathedral city and the cultural capital of Devon. The cathedral is centrally located with an array of overlooking cafes, bars and restaurants which supplement a host of restaurants in the Queen Street Food Quarter. Exeter’s famous underground passages & the Royal Albert Memorial Museum are a stone’s throw away from the main street and the Exeter Ship Canal and Quay with kayak, canoe and cycle hire is a 10 minute walk from the city centre. On the outskirts of the city is the picturesque village of Topsham, Crealy Adventure Park, Westpoint Centre, Powderham Castle and live music venue and the Northcott Theatre. Cycle paths and cycle hire are in abundance. Sandy Park the home of Exeter Chiefs is a 10 minute drive from us. The train into Exeter city centre takes less than 10 minutes, the bus 25 minutes and there is nearby electric bike hire if you want to cycle the 6.5 mile route. If walking is your thing then the beautiful National Trust grounds of Killerton Gardens or Knightshayes Court or Haldon Forest and the Powderham Estate are all only 20-30 minutes away.
