Or alternately step outside and soak in the tranquillity this secluded paradise has to offer. With an abundance of outside space for you to enjoy, including open grass areas, pond views and woodland. On a long summer afternoon have a picnic on the grass or enjoy your favourite tipple in the shaded seating area amongst the trees. From dawn till dusk, The Big Green Shepherds Hut is a dream. As the sun disappears behind the trees and stars fill the night sky, light the fire pit and get cosy with that special someone. This charming hut is the most idyllic base from which to walk and explore the Sussex/ Surrey countryside. Whatever the occasion, this romantic bolthole is the perfect place to call home for a little while.

We live in nearby Brighton and often escape the hustle & bustle of city living by spending time with nature at the hut. We often go on long walks and biking routes throughout the Surrey Hills AONB and have printed routes within the huts. We love seeing guests having an amazing time whilst staying at the huts and appreciate the social media reviews.

The fields surrounding the hut have farm animals which include, sheep, horses, pigs, and goats. Many guests love being able to see the animals whilst sitting beside the pond. Walking/bike riding through Glovers wood or Surrey Hills OANB The village of Charlwood is a 20-minute walk through Glovers Wood. Charlwood has 2 pretty pubs, a café and convenience store. Days out could include – Gatwick Aviation Museum Lowfield Heath Windmill County Oak Retail Park
