Our cosy little rustic barn, surrounded by natural streams, wild flowers, trees and wildlife offers a tranquil and romantic self-catering retreat, perfect for two and dog friendly too. With luxurious King Size bed and bedding, throws, cushions, shower room and log burner The Bothy will appeal to those just wishing to escape and truly relax. Whether it’s sampling the delights of Exmoor and its glorious food fest, stargazing the clear dark skies or simply snuggling in front of a roaring log burning stove after a day of walking or surfing, our little barn is the perfect self-catering retreat. The Bothy can be booked with either Heale Farm Cottage and The Roundhouse for groups up to 9 wishing to make a family/friends/special occasion retreat getaway.

Heale Farm is a small farm tucked away at the end of a long lane in the tiny hamlet of Heale near Parracombe in North Devon, with spectacular views of the sea and moors and nestled within Exmoor National Park. With wonderful walks from the door through ancient bluebell woods and dramatic views leading to the Heddon Valley and the untamed coastline of North Devon incorporating the North Devon Coastal Path. Explore Exmoor with its vast rugged landscape and be amazed by the beautiful wildlife, visit the stunning beaches a short drive away, explore cliffs and coves, surfing, paddle boarding or coasteering, walking, cycling, horse riding, there is something for everyone creating very special memories, all on our doorstep!
