The Captain's Retreat is a one bedroomed, self contained place and which is ideal for exploring the Jurassic coastline and West Dorset countryside. Ideally situated in the idyllic village of Puncknowle, the coast at West Bexington is under two miles away and the towns of Bridport, Weymouth and Dorchester are nearby. Puncknowle itself has a traditional Dorset pub, The Crown, and there is the Parlour restaurant, The Club House, Hive Beach Cafe and many other eateries nearby.
The Captain's Retreat is situated on a no-through road and therefore is ideally suited for those who are looking for peace and tranquility. Puncknowle is a quiet Dorset village, away from any main roads, and is in the heart of the west Dorset countryside. It has a village pub and a farm shop nearby. Three miles away there is the village of Burton Bradstock and which has a garage, pubs, post office and other amenities.
Free parking is provided for The Captain's Retreat. There is a bus service along the nearby B3157 to Weymouth and Bridport.
