The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size with en-suite and double. There is a bathroom with bath, shower over, and basin and WC, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and pond. Historic Wem, home of the infamous Jeffrey's “the hanging” Judge and renowned for its real ales and the modern Sweet Pea flower, has provided a central point for local trade since Saxon times and its weekly market still holds this tradition, attracting visitors from across the county. The beautiful town of Ellesmere, with its Medieval streets littered with Georgian and Victorian houses and quaint, half-timbered buildings, is situated just 6 miles away, amidst an area known as Shropshire's Lakeland, and offers an abundance of shops, pubs and fine restaurants. Take a boat trip across the magnificent glacial mere out onto the Llangollen Canal or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque Aboretum and Cremorne Gardens with its wonderful wildlife and scenic walks.
