The Cordelia is a beautiful Victorian villa built around 1884 and was named after the builders’ daughter. The property has been thoughtfully restored and contains many original features. Our seven rooms are individually designed and decorated with antique furnishings. We are passionate about making your stay at the Cordelia special so please do not hesitate to contact us should you require anything at all during your stay. The Cordelia is not suitable for children under the age of 12, nor do we accept pets.

Our 7 rooms are individually designed and decorated to a high standard, as well as benefiting from new ensuites. The property has been beautifully restored and retains many original features. Our guests' comfort is our top priority so they are equipped with high thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen, thick luxurious towels and goose down and feather pillows. They have televisions, well-stocked tea and coffee trays and hairdryers. We have a guest lounge complete with library, board games and television for our guests' enjoyment. We serve an excellent breakfast in our attractive dining room using the best local produce. We are well located for all major attractions in Scarborough - less than a mile from the station, Stephen Joseph Theatre and town centre and just 0.5 miles from Scarborough Spa and the South Bay.

Our immediate surroundings; We are situated in the South Cliff area of South Bay and are around a 12 - 15 minute walk to the town centre, station, beach and Spa Complex. The nearest local shops are in the Ramshill area – these include a post office, pubs, Sainsburys Local with cash machine, cafes, pharmacy, taxi firm and local takeaways.
