The Cottage is a small, quaint one bedroom bungalow which has been modernised and fully equipped. Cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops are just a stone's throw from the door. This cosy cottage is perfect for couples and single travellers wanting to explore the many sights that the beautiful Orkney Islands have to offer - wonderful walks, amazing historic sites or simply just to relax and enjoy this home from home in the heart of Kirkwall. The Cottage is a ground level bungalow with no steps to contend with. There is a kitchen/living area, hallway, one bedroom with built-in storage and a shower room. The kitchen/living area is equipped with a microwave, Dolce Gusto pod beverage machine, washer/dryer and an undercounter fridge. A smart TV with various apps, and USB sockets are provided for your convenience. The shower room has a large walk-in shower, toilet and sink with full wall heated mirror. The bedroom has a king-size bed with a comfortable mattress, a window seat, and sockets either side of the bed with USB capability. Guests will have the private use of the cottage and all appliances within. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or problems during your stay. There is vehicle access for loading/unloading directly outside the cottage but plenty of on street parking bays within a few feet from the property which have no cost. There is a guest manual with useful information to assist you during your stay.

Hello! We are a mother and daughter team who live and work on the mainland of beautiful Orkney. This is our first time hosting and managing our own holiday let. Our aim was to create a welcoming home from home with a luxury feel. We are always available should you need any help or if there are any problems with the property.

The Cottage is centrally located but sits in a quiet courtyard. The main street with an abundance of fabulous local and speciality shops and cafes is just steps away. The St. Magnus Cathedral, Earl's Palace and Bishop's Palace are around a 5 minute walk up Victoria Street. There are many other historic sites to explore whilst in Orkney - The Churchill Barriers, The Italian Chapel, Maeshowe, and Skara Brae to name a few. There are supermarkets a short walk/drive from the cottage, 2 of which offer delivery services.
