The George at Backwell is a smart and stylish inn located just 8 miles from Bristol city centre. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant, and free WiFi and parking. Accessed by stairs only, each guest room is individually designed and has en suite bathroom facilities. Rooms come complete with a TV, complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. There is an on site restaurant, and also a courtyard garden for enjoying the sunnier days. A private dining/meeting room is available if booked in advance. A continental breakfast is served each morning. Bristol Airport is 3 miles from The George at Backwell.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Backwell, just on the outskirts of Bristol, the George is a traditional, family friendly pub at the heart of the local community Stay in one of our seven rooms and enjoy the beautiful Somerset countryside. We serve excellent local ales and cider alongside our classic pub menu. Enjoy the courtyard during summer, and during the colder months, snuggle up next to our roaring fire for the evening.
