Quietly situated within the Scottish Borders. Free high-speed WiFi is available in all areas and there is free onsite parking. This Victorian property also boasts many original features. Edinburgh is just 1 hour’s drive away. Each room includes a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite bath or shower rooms have complimentary toiletries. Some rooms offer four-poster beds and stunning garden views. Overlooking the River Ettrick, the Glen offers a limited evening meal service from Monday to Thursday. Featuring a balustraded staircase and a gallery landing, The Glen Guesthouse overlooks the Ettrick Valley. Guests can enjoy fishing in the neighbouring River Ettrick and the River Tweed is within a 20-minute drive. There are 21 golf courses within a 30-minute drive, including the Galashiels Golf Club.

Golfing and fishing breaks in the Scottish Borders at The Glen Guesthouse Selkirk The Glen guesthouse in Selkirk is a picturesque guesthouse of Victorian roots, within the Scottish Borders, and an ideal location for golfing, fishing or simply leisurely breaks. It is a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre yet only an hour from Edinburgh. Golfers and anglers are well catered for at The Glen Guesthouse where we stand overlooking the River Ettrick which is most convenient for avid anglers, as well as just a stone's throw from the Tweed. Monday to Thursday - An evening meal based on a single "Dish of the Day". This will be served at 6:30pm only. Friday to Sunday - We will not be providing an Evening Meal. We are still able to offer a full menu evening meal service for groups of 10+ with prior agreement. The Glen Hotel is an ideal place to escape.

Please be advised that the property only offers an evening meal Monday to Thursday which is served at 18:30. A dish of the day is offered plus a selection of home made desserts.

When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of GBP 10 per pet, per stay applies with a maximum of 2 pets per room. For guests with pets please note we only accept dogs.
