Our properties at Boningale Manor have earned guest reviews of 9.5 out of 10. As Host, I have been rewarded with 9.8 out of 10. Why such high scores? Well, though I am a relaxed chap (described by many as genial), I am passionate about getting your accommodation to a proper standard ready for your arrival. It really matters to me that you enjoy a great stay - if there is anything wrong, tell me and it will be sorted. There is little point in offering hospitality if you are not committed to achieving guest satisfaction!

The Sanctuary is a very comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful 1st floor apartment (reached by 2 flights of 8 steps) which was renovated entirely in July 2023 and now is furnished in a contemporary style. Stepping inside, you'll enter the diner-lounge. The dining set comprises a decent-sized circular glass table with modern-style chairs. The lounge area has a double leather settee, a leather recliner and a good-sized Smart TV (includes Netflix). Our fibre-to-property WiFi is distributed around our properties and runs at about 80 MB/s. As the internet is often an essential requirement, we pay for a reserve signal from the local EE mast which runs at 30MBs, enough for virtually all needs). The kitchen has a Scandi feel to it: it is fully equipped (but, if you need something more, just ask). The bedroom is considered to be generous. The comfort of the Superking bed is regularly praised. A wardrobe and full-sized chest of draws allows you to unpack your clothes and stow your cases in The Sanctuary's private lock-up (on the landing, outside your front door). The bedroom leads onto a private balcony, overlooking pasture, provided with a Bistro Set. The shower/WC room is neat and simple - it is accessed off the lounge - meaning that you don't have to listen to the extractor in the middle of the night! Why 'The Sanctuary'? Well, you'll struggle to find a more private accommodation. Your parking spot is totally invisible from the road. Inside The Sanctuary, you have long views over farm land, but no-one can see you. Even outside, on the balcony, you are almost perfectly concealed from other guests. And 24/7 The Sanctuary is incredibly quiet and peaceful.

Boningale Manor is in the countryside (you need a car) but on the A464, with speedy connection via A-Roads (for work or visit) to Wolverhampton, Telford and Featherstone. Nearby attractions... RAF Cosford, David Austin Roses, Weston Park, Bantock House, Boscobel House and Wightwick Manor. Also do not forget (tho slightly further) the Black Country Museum and Mad O'Rourke's Pie Factory or Shrewsbury and Ludlow. If you want to eat out, The Summer House offers good Pub Grub and is in easy walking distance. A half mile drive down the road gets you to the very popular Cowshed (tables for Sundays have to be booked weeks ahead). Our current favourite is 3 miles away - The Crown at The Wergs, also best booked ahead.
