The Hideaway Hut is in a perfect location for a peaceful and tranquil getaway for a couple. This fantastic modern Shepherds Hut sleeps two and is located on private land with parking, this makes for a unique experience. The Hideaway Hut has a fully functioning kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower, toilet and hand basin. The double bed sits at the side of the Shepherds Hut offering amazing views through the small window into the beautiful country surrounding The Hideaway Hut. The garden area at The Hideaway Hut is beautiful hosting a hot tub with views of the rolling countryside and outdoor seating for you to relax on summers evenings.

Herefordshire is a rural county with the city of Hereford being the largest of five towns within the shire. Hereford is a city on account of its cathedral which dates back nearly a thousand years. The cathedral is open to the public and has an interesting historical past. Bishop Meadow and Castle Green are centred on it and a part of the moat and the old bridge remain from the Civil War era. There are plenty of areas to walk and see the blending of the old world and the new with the city centre two minutes walk away with the usual array of retail shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc… The Hideaway Hut is located 4.5 miles from the city centre, 1 mile off the A4103 which runs north toward Worcester. The hut is surrounded by undulating farmland with Westhide Wood silhouetted in the background. The hut is located at Ivy Dene Cottage down a quiet country lane off a narrow ‘C’ road in Dodmarsh approximately halfway between the town of Withington which conveniently has a local shop and Post Office and the hamlet of Westhide. There is a local pub, the Cross Keys about a mile away. There are good pubs/restaurants and a list of a few of them is available for guests to peruse.
