A 8-minute drive from Chichester, The Horse & Groom is a newly refurbished 17th century pub with delicious award-winning food and ale. The pub is ideally placed for enjoying the beautiful Sussex countryside, including the South Downs National Park. West Sussex boasts a wealth of country and coastal walks, regular music, food, drink and garden festivals, and popular sporting events. From the Horse & Groom it is a brief journey to the famous motor circuit and racecourse at Goodwood, the beaches at West Wittering, the gardens at West Dean, the charming old village of Bosham, the Roman Palace at Fishbourne and the cathedral city of Chichester. Choose from our INN with 10 -four gold star guest rooms with en- suite bathrooms, all furnished to a high specification offering luxurious bedding and a real sense of rustic charm. You will find traditional oak furniture, exposed wooden beams and soft, calming tones. There are also various works of art to enjoy including a number of landscapes portraying local villages. Little touches such as a selection of teas and complimentary Grind coffee capsules add to your experience, Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the building so you can stay connected during your break.

The bar is open: Monday, Tuesday, 12pm - 10:30pm

Dogs may be accommodated at the property for an additional fee of GBP 20 per dog stay. This is subject to availability and guests must enquire with the property when booking.

If you are booking to stay during a special event like the Goodwood Members Meeting, Goodwood Glorious, Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival then please note a non-refundable deposit or full payment may be required to secure your reservation.
