Hi Scotland fan! The Lang Toon House is located in Auchterarder, in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, in the middle of Scotland. About an hour's drive north of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Vibrant Perth is a 20min drive, and historic Stirling about 40min. The recently renovated house has a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, with all the mod cons and basics such as tea and coffee and condiments for cooking. The kitchen features a dining table seating 6 (which can be extended to sit 10). The cosy living room is ideal to relax after a day out in the Scottish countryside. A large screen smart-TV, the 2 sofa's, board games and books and an abundance of blankets and pillows are sure to guarantee a good coorie in (Scottish cosiness). There are 3 bedrooms in total: - Downstairs double bedroom - Upstairs double bedroom - Kids room All bedrooms have plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. The kids room has some toys for guests. There is a modern family bathroom upstairs with bath, shower and toilet. At the rear of the house, the house offers a nice-sized garden, fully enclosed, with an outdoor seating area. Perfect for enjoying a bbq on a sunny day.

Auchterarder is a bustling little town, and has a fair share of cute little shops, supermarkets, and several restaurants and pubs. The world-famous Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Resort is only a couple of minutes away. For excursions, there are plenty of options in or near Auchterarder. Think of the local golf courses, or day trips to Pitlochry, Perth, Dunkeld, Blair Atholl or Stirling. If you are into castles and monuments, make sure to visit Scone Palace, Drummond Castle Gardens, Stirling Castle or The Wallace Monument. Crieff is only a 15min drive and offers a wide range of excursions and activities (see below). Check out the Crieff Hydro. For kids, there are also numerous options in Crieff or elsewhere such as Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre, Scottish Deer Centre, ... You can't mention Scotland, without thinking about adventure, of which there is loads near Auchterarder. Trail runs of all difficulties near or a bit further, from easy 'flat' runs to proper scrambles up the local Munro's. Mountainbike fans will also find less & more challenging routes, for example at Comrie Croft. Looking to alternate with less dynamic adventure? Try fly fishing, horse riding or a whisky tasting.
