The Loft at Crown Cottage is a spacious, self-contained one-bedroom retreat located above an oak-framed garage within the grounds of a charming black and white cottage, formerly a pub, in the picturesque village of Clifton upon Teme. Nestled in the scenic Teme Valley and surrounded by rolling hills, woodlands, and farmland, the property offers a peaceful countryside setting with stunning viewpoints. Inside, the loft is fresh and airy with a modern feel, featuring an en suite bedroom, comfortable seating area, and a desk—perfect for relaxing or working remotely. Guests can enjoy tea and coffee-making facilities including a coffee machine with a variety of pods, along with a toaster, mini-fridge, cereals, and milk provided for the first morning. A friendly village atmosphere, with a local shop and traditional pub just across the road, makes this an ideal base for a quiet getaway or stopover in rural Worcestershire.
The property is positioned behind 18 The Village, approach down the driveway which is to the right-hand side of the Crown Cottage as you look at it, please use the driveway and continue directly through the wooden gates in front of you, parking either underneath the garage or on the driveway pulling round to your left.

In our spare time, we enjoy walking the local footpaths with our friendly cocker spaniel and spending time at the village recreational ground—perfect for a bit of fresh air or a quiet picnic. We hope you’ll feel right at home and enjoy everything this lovely village has to offer.
Many of our guests enjoy breakfast at the Apple Tree Kitchen, a charming local spot just a short walk from the accommodation, known for its wide selection of delicious, freshly prepared food. Our local pub—right across the road—also serves up fantastic pub grub, with the pizzas and burgers especially popular among visitors.
Worcestershire is rich in history and culture, from being the birthplace of composer Edward Elgar to the famed Malvern Water Cure. The region also boasts a strong agricultural heritage, the stunning Worcester Cathedral, and is home to the iconic Morgan Motor Company. For motorsport enthusiasts, the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb is just a short drive away—perfect for an exciting weekend outing.
The area also offers plenty for lovers of heritage and stately homes, with several beautiful National Trust properties nearby—including Croome Court, Brockhampton Estate, and Hanbury Hall—as well as the impressive English Heritage site of Witley Court.
