There is Folkestone ( home to the Folkestone Triennale ) with its trendy Harbour Arm and Creative Quarter, the historic docks and castle at Dover, or explore the pretty Military Canal at Hythe. Just a little further afield is Canterbury, Leeds Castle, and charming fishing villages such as Deal, Whitstable, and Sandwich, Broadstairs or Rye, or country villages such as Chilham ( Voted Prettiest Village in Kent).
