The Main Street Burrow is a cosy apartment situated in the centre of St. Boswells, a picturesque village located in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Burrow can sleep up to 4 people comfortably, with a double bed in its own bedroom and a fold-out sofa bed in the open plan lounge and kitchen. As well as a bedroom and open plan kitchen / lounge, The Main Street Burrow has a large bathroom with wash basin and walk in shower, plus toilet. The Main Street Burrow is pet friendly and we are happy for you to bring up to two dogs! Whether you've come to this overlooked part of Scotland for some rest and recuperation or to have an action-packed adventure, the Main Street Burrow is the perfect hideaway. St. Boswells itself is a picture-postcard village centred round a large, tree-lined village green and boasts numerous award-winning shops.

The Main St Burrow is owned by husband and wife duo James and Alex who live in St Boswells with their furry rescue children Boris and Scruffy! Alex is a Borders lass, growing up in a house not far from where she now resides. James’s heritage is unknown (jokes) but let’s say he has a little bit of Scottish in him! Meeting in Portugal back in 2007 and having travelled the world together since, they decided to lay roots back on Alex’s home turf. After his failed attempt at becoming a rockstar, James works locally as a buyer but still a keen musician, plays to whomever will listen. Alex is a textile creative, who loves anything that involves knitting, printing or weaving and sadly is not as musical as James! (Much to James’s family’s disappointment!) They love the village so much that they created the Burrow to offer a little home away from home to others who wished to visit this very overlooked part of Scotland! A self check in system is in place on arrival and similarly on departure, meaning no contact with any individual is required during your stay.
