Fantastic Large Luxury Home very close to the Centre of Cardiff on a rare beautiful tree lined Conservation street with old fashioned street lights. The house has a Huge 45 foot lounge, dinning & open plan kitchen with fireplace that forms the Hub of the Home. Downstairs you also have Conservatory, Breakfast room & utility along with 2nd bathroom with a wet-room style shower. Upstairs, 4 spacious well presented bedrooms & main bathroom. Everything has been newly decorated & has Super comfy Beds. Ideal location if you are looking for accommodation for the Uefa Finals being very close to the centre and the stadium. The House has a dedicated off road parking space and also street parking with visitor permit for additional cars. The whole home can be rented out or for a cheaper option on a room basis if just a couple or smaller groups please email for prices. This House will suit groups, families, Couples or Corporate / Business use. The house although being on the very edge of the city center, is in a rare conservation area with almost a woodland feel with pretty wild flower gardens running along the side of the property down a pretty lane. The House was originally built in 1820's
Originally from Torquay on the South Coast of Devon, i moved to Cardiff for University and fell in love with the City and stayed here ever since. I work as Management consultant for several City Centre Businesses these days which keeps me out of trouble :-). I absolutely love travelling and Using My Home as a way to earn a little extra money i am hoping will allow me to travel a bit more and see the world. I am a huge fan of eating out and culture so will definitely be able to point you in the right directions for places to dine out and things to see and do. I am super friendly but also very professional and will do my utmost to make sure your stay is perfect. Either Myself or my Partner would do our best to meet any guests on arrival and show them around (or if not a representative) and hand over keys etc and will be reasonably close by should you need any assistance.
The property is very central to Cardiff with the hustle and bustle of the city centre just a few mins walk, but lucky enough to be situated in a rare conservation area, part of the area of Cardiff called Roath, which has some beautiful lakes and parks and also the really trendy area of Wellfield Road which has boutique shops and trendy bars and cafes is close by. This really is the perfect location to stay. If you like a bit of History then then whilst quite modern inside, the original part of the house was built in 1820 and was part of the estate owned by the Marquis of Bute (who owned most of Cardiff and the Castle and Docks etc) this was a private estate which he used to house private guests who needed more privacy away from the Castle and Court, he would have his horse and carts come and pick these special guests up and ferry them to the Castle for meetings and events. Hence why this is now a conservation area. Many of the houses and doors in the lane are not allowed to be changed and are original colouring from that era. Getting around-Walking to centre is very easy. Just one straight road, about 8 minute walk. Driving around Cardiff is quite ok, Uber taxi's are very cheap
