On request we provide Parking Permits at just £3.50 per day which remain in force until 11:00 the following morning. The delightful Stage Door pub is right across the road from us offering a great place for a drink or a meal. In the heart of Eastbourne's Theatreland, The Mowbray occupies a prime position on the corner of an elegant Edwardian terrace, connecting the seafront with the theatres and conference centres. This family-run guesthouse overlooks Devonshire Park and the International Tennis Courts, just a stone's throw from the beach and the promenade, and only a short distance from the town centre. All of the en suite rooms are front facing, with some enjoying views of the rolling South Downs and the Tennis Centre. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities and a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player. Taking great pride in the stylish décor, cleanliness, friendly atmosphere and home cooked food, the resident owners, Darren and Laura, provide excellent value for money and a personal service. The Mowbray received the Les Routiers Guest House of The Year 2016.

The Mowbray features the Eastbourne Visitor Passport scheme, offering guests discounts in restaurants, attractions and shops in Eastbourne.
There is plenty of such parking all around The Mowbray. Parking Permits are available on request. These provide parking all day and until 11:00 the following morning for just £3.50 per day.
In conformity to UK legislation The Mowbray is a no smoking property and only has non-smoking rooms. We guide our guests to the nearest smoking area if needed. Unfortunately a charge of £150 is added to any account where this has been breached.
As The Mowbray is In our delightful late Victorian or early Edwardian historic building there are some limitations for those with severely reduced mobility. The doors do not allow for wheelchairs use, the front door is up a few steps and the breakfast room is accessed by stairs, but for those with more mobility there are 2 good handrails at the entrance and the breakfast stairs, a lift goes to all bedrooms from the entrance floor and every ensuite, has a walk-in shower. We can serve a limited breakfast in the guest lounge if the breakfast stairs prove impossible.
