The Nest is a unique propery situated in a tranquil setting in the New Forest. There is a large private gravel drive for parking. Walking in the New Forest: We are situated in the heart of the New Forest. We are a 2 minute walk from the beautiful open Forest and a short drive from several stunning beaches with cafes that are well worth a visit. You are able to walk along the coast to Highcliffe castle where many events take place. On Sundays in the summer 'Pop up Sundays' happen where live bands play for free on the green. Take a picnic and enjoy!! The Nest is beautifully furnished with a mezzanine floor ideal for sleeping, star gazing or watching the sun set and rise. The comfortable sofa bed, has a fully sprung mattress ( the same as a normal double bed ) and is very easy to assemble. Storage is provided to keep bedding fresh and clean. There is a good size, bright airy patio area that has the sun most of the day with a table and chairs. It is ideal for morning coffee, relaxing lunches or a glass of bubbles. Train stations: Tiptoe road is quiet and rural near to the village Sway, New Milton and Brockenhurst stations are within close proximity ( New Milton & Sway station are both a 7 minute drive from the property, Brockenhurst a 15 minute drive ). Taxi's are available. There are two local pubs within walking distance, both serve food and have spacious outside seating areas. The Rising Sun is a 5 minute stroll and has been newly renovated. I have many recommendations of places to visit, to enjoy breakfast, lunch & dinner. Health & Wellbeing: The Retreat hotel 'A home of wellbeing' in the New Forest, is close by ( 7 minute drive ) providing both yoga & Pilates classes courses to study & workshops to undertake. Sporting Activities: Sea swimmimg, the Park run,, The New Forest Mrathon, half, or 10K, trail runs, cycling events, New Forest triathlon. There are several bike hire places close by and numerous cycle routes to follow throughout the Forest.

I am a mother of four grown up children who after working as a midwife in the New Forest for several years decided to try something new & convert my outbuilding into ‘The Nest’. I wanted to design a tranquil space where people would be able to come & relax together & enjoy the New Forest & it’s beautiful surrounding areas. I’m always wanting to improve The Nest & love any ideas my guests have to enable me to do this.

It’s quiet, tranquil and calm. With very little 'light pollution' star gazing or relaxing on the private patio with the twinkly lights on make it an ideal romantic, relaxing place to be. It is the perfect location to step away from the chaos of life & come & recharge your batteries!
