We converted The Old Dairy Retreat some 18 years ago. The cottage resides just outside the village of Upper Heyford on a converted farm. Upon arrival you will drive down the farm track, look out for the wooden sign that says 'Letchmere Farm' (third of mile long).
As you near the property (look for The Old Dairy sign on the stone wall). Pull up to the electric gates and they will open automatically (7am to 7pm). Drive straight ahead and park next to the white milk churn (has The Old Dairy Retreat on it). Walk up the path to the front door of the cottage.
Once you are in the cottage the open plan kitchen/ diner (and laundry room/ WC) is to the left and living room facing onto the private garden (with log burning bath and sauna) to the right. Upstairs you will find 2 double bedrooms with good size beds, shower room with sink and toilet, room to relax in an Indian copper tub and a walk through dressing room. The master bedroom has a beautiful view of the gardens and down the farm track.
We converted The Old Dairy barns some 18 years ago and live in the main house onsite with our two sons Henry and Joe.
In the time we have live here, we enjoy the convenience of the Heyford Park development next door which provides us with shops, a pub and a restaurant, at the same time as having the privacy of living on the edge of the countryside in a secluded farm.
We enjoy long dog walks, with our rescued dog Zante, with a stop off at a pub or two, to rehydrate.

The Old Dairy retreat is perfectly located to visit Bicester Village (10 mins away), Silverstone Race Track (25 mins away), Woodstock and Blenheim Palace (21 mins away), Soho Farmhouse (27 mins away), Cotswold (25 mins away) and Oxford City Centre (30 mins away).
Bicester has 2 train stations - Bicester Village and Bicester North - both will have you in London within 50 minutes.
Within a 5 minute walk you will arrive in the Centre of Heyford Park, where you will find a Sainsbury's convenience store, dentist, pharmacy, barbers, The Baton Restaurant and 455 bar.
