The Old Dower House is a beautiful 16th century property situated in the heart of the peaceful and picturesque village of Marbury which lies on the Shropshire/Cheshire border. It enjoys spectacular views over Marbury Mere and the surrounding rolling countryside and is a perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the world. At The Old Dower House, the emphasis is on luxury, relaxation and delicious food! We would love you to experience the countryside to the fullest, whether it be from the comfort of your room, the upstairs guest lounge, or perhaps you wish to put on your walking boots or wellies and enjoy one of the many local walks. We love our garden and invite you to have a wander around or take a minute on the swing seat in the veggie patch. In your spacious room you will find a comfy king-sized bed and natural bedding. In the en-suite there is a large power shower, 100% cotton towels, fluffy robes and luxury toiletries. You will find a selection of teas and ground coffee and a special freshly home-made cake as a welcome gift for you. We serve a delicious and varied breakfast menu using local ingredients and produce from the garden where possible.
