Company information

Lydcott Glamping opened in February 2019 with 2 luxury glamping cabins. We now have a total of 7 luxury cabins, all with stunning sea views. Lydcott Glamping were proud to win GOLD in the Cornwall Tourism Excellence Awards as Glamping BUsiness of the Year 2022-23, and are finalists in the upcoming SOUTH WEST Tourism Excellence Awards in the same category. We put our guests first and foremost so our goal is to ensure you have everything you need to have the most amazing stay possible.

Property information

The Pilchard cabin has a king sized bed in the main bedroom at one end of the cabin, and a second king sized bed at the opposite end of the cabin, which converts into a seated dining area when not in use. In betwen there is a kitchen equipped with electric hob, microwave, fridge freezer, sink and all the cooking utensils you may need. The bathroom is also positioned in the centre of the cabin behind a sliding door in the corridor between the kithen/dining area and the bedroom. The bathroom has a really good hot shower, WC and basin. Head outside to discover your very own firepit and barbecue, complete with seating for late-night stargazing over toasted marshmallows by your own private decked area with outdoor picnic bench and a double hammock.

Neighbourhood information

We are ideally located to explore and enjoy the whole of Cornwall, or just relax and enjoy everything the local area has to offer - from stunning beaches (less than 10 minutes away) to National Trust properties, to the Eden Project, wine tastings and much much more. We are in a rural location so having a car is recommended to get around and see the area, although there are bus services into Looe and towards Plymouth within walking distance. If using local taxis, we advise to book in advance.
