Umbrella Pines, sits in a quiet cul-de-sac only 200m from Holcombe Beach, which is safe for swimming, great for snorkelling and much more quiet than Teignmouth Beach. The clifftop views are simply breathtaking and the home itself has plenty of large windows allowing the light to pour in. With wooden floors throughout, traditional decor, and tasteful soft furnishings, the house is warm and inviting. There is plenty of room for the whole family to spend time in the large living area. A sun terrace, balcony and patio are perfect settings for a barbeque, evening dining or breakfast meals. The grounds include several acres of private gardens and woodland with an enchanting private path to Holcombe Beach. Please note that the garden is not escape proof for dogs. It is open in places to the sides and also merges into the forest. The accommodation is split over 2 floors. The ground floor comprises of a large kitchen, dining area and lounge with a wood-burning stove and a double sofa bed. There are also two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs features two further large bedrooms, a bathroom and balcony. The third bedroom is king size and the fourth bedroom has a single bed and double sofa bed has panoramic views and cal also function as a second lounge, ideal for two families sharing the property. Local Area: Teignmouth with its charming shops, restaurant and the Pavilions’ Arts and Culture Centre is a 25 minute walk away either through Eastcliff Park or along the sea wall. The Exe Estuary Cycle path and Wray Valley trail which leads to Dartmoor, are a short drive away. The Cathedral City of Exeter can be reached within 25 minutes by car or train. Within an hour’s drive are many National Trust Properties and gardens and the historical towns of Plymouth and Totnes.
