This is a very well located part of Cornwall, near beaches, The Helford River, Falmouth, National Trust Gardens etc and set within a shared 6 acre garden with access to a flooded quarry. It is very restful and perfect for country folk who arn’t too precious. There is a compost loo and the facilities are basic but you really will feel like you’ve had a different holiday in rather a special spot. The caravan has an eccentric feel to it, and has character shall we say. We are happy to welcome well behaved pets, but no entire dogs please or cat killers. We have 3 children, two friendly dogs and two cats who share the garden also. Don’t come if you want utter privacy but we will let you be, of course.

We enjoy sharing our garden with people who enjoy the outdoors and want to explore beautiful Cornwall and all it has to offer. Falmouth is a 15 min drive and that’s where the night life is. There are some beautiful beaches, and the North coast isn’t too far for surfing etc either. Sailing on the river is very popular amongst our guests too. Being well off the road, it can feel like a proper retreat.

Our visitors are never short of things to do. There is the Maritime Museum in Falmouth, the cinema. Also historic town of Helston only 15 minutes away and Trebah and Glendurgan garden, amongst others, only 10 minutes away. There is the well loved Trengilly Wartha pub and Slice of Cornwall, both within walking distance.
