Welcome to Wild Escapes, a new woodland eco-friendly glamping site set amid three lakes in the Cheshire countryside. This idyllic space is all you need to get total peace, tranquillity and to be in the middle of nature with spectacular views across the lakes. On the outskirts of Wrenbury village and on the Llangollen canal, our cosy shepherd’s hut can provide you the perfect glamping experience. Inside you will find a double bed, dining area and cooking facilities. The hut is set in two acres of woodland which includes three ponds making it a quite unique place to stay. The space is shared with 2 log cabins where other guests may be staying. The ponds are stocked with fish, mainly carp, and fishing is permitted so long as anything caught is returned to the water no holding nets or ground bait and please use barbless hooks. You have access to your own firepit and outdoor seating area. A shared flushing toilet and shower is located approximately 75m away from the hut. Bedding and towels are provided. Parking is available in our car park approximately a 150-200m walk from the hut. Contactless check-in. No food is provided other than basics (salt, pepper, teabags, sugar), but there is a cool box for you to use inside the cabin. Please be aware that the hut has no electricity or Wi-Fi for an off-grid experience. We advise that you bring your own power banks if you wish to charge phones and laptops. Please also be advised that there is limited heating (small gas fire), but blankets and hot water bottles are provided. This cabin is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. Life rings are provided for emergencies. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY. NO PETS in the hut due to it's size, for pet friendly units please see our Willow and Kingfisher cabins.
