Nestled in the traditional Cotswold village of Gotherington, The Thatch House is a family home from home. Lovingly decorated this spacious yet cosy thatched cottage has everything you could need to make your stay a memorable and relaxed experience. With a conservatory, comfortable snug, homely living room, kitchen/diner and plenty of outdoor sitting areas you won't be on top of each other. Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted Please make yourself aware of the hot tub rules and hours of use. An additional fee of 75 GBP applies and it must be requested at the time of booking.  Use of an up to 22kwh EV charger is included during your stay. Charging is only available between the hours of 12:30am-5:30am so you may plug your car in at night and be ready to go in the morning. The gym equipment in the conservatory is not available for guests’ use and will be locked due to health and safety and insurance requirements

Gotherington is on the north-western edge of the Cotswolds, just six miles from Cheltenham. It is perfectly located for walkers, with the Cotswold Way, Gloucestershire Way, Isbourne Way and Winchcombe Way all within walking distance. Fans of horse and car racing will appreciate Hillview Hideaway’s location, just three miles from Cheltenham Racecourse and a mile and a half from Prescott Hill Climb. In addition, the village has a privately owned station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway line, a two-minute walk from the property, which stops at the Racecourse, making a trip to the Races a dream. Supermarkets and Shopping: The nearest food shop is Gotherington Stores (0.3 miles). For a bigger shop head to Bishops Cleeve where there is a Cooperative Food Store (1.1 miles), Lidl (1.7 miles) and Tesco (1.8 miles). The Winchcombe Way, a 42-mile figure-of-eight trail is centred around Winchcombe, while the 14-mile Isbourne Way follows the River Isbourne from Cleeve Hill to Evesham, passing close to Gotherington. In addition, the 102-mile Cotswold Way passes close by, and the Gloucestershire Way is just to the north, skirting Oxenton Hills.
