Our home is situated in a secluded area and surrounded by the green fields of the beautiful Northern Irish countryside. We are 30 min away from the bright lights of the city so perfect for guests who are seeking a peaceful and relaxing break. We grow our own vegetables and I love to cook especially fresh soda bread and banana bread for breakfast. Noreen's nettle tea has become a guest favourite along with her homemade nettle hair tonic which are both available to buy during your stay.
Aghalee is a small hamlet 30 min outside Belfast and a 5min drive from Lough Neagh.It borders counties Armagh,Antrim and Down and is therefore and ideal base for exploring Northern Ireland.It situated on Route 94 of the National Cycle Network which consists of quiet country roads.The village consists of a grocery store/post office/off license, fish & chip shop and chinese takeaway.
