We are a married couple who have lived in Skye for 42 years. When we first came here we bought a run down crofthouse that we renovated. Richard is now semi retired, Clare still works. The area ia semi rural being on the outskirts of the town of Portree. The town centre is just a fifteen minute walk away. If visitors wish to dine out there is a selection of restaurants to choose from. During the day Staffin road can be quite busy but at night it is much quieter. There is a large garden around the property. Richard is also responsible for the maintenance of this.
