The Watch House is the Ex HMS Customs house and is a fabulous and spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom property sleeping up to 10 guests. Located within the heart of Cowes with the Island Sailing Club to one side, looking out across the Royal yacht Squadron start line of the Solent races on the other, it is hard to imagine a more prestigious location. Completely renovated throughout, this unique property is a part of Cowes town heritage, the old customs house is located between the high street and the parade. The house boasts 2 roof top terraces providing a fabulous viewing platform to watch the racing, sailing, cruise ships pass by. This spacious house is spread over 3 floors, the layout is designed to make the most of the views. The large kitchen with beamed ceiling is located on the ground floor and is fully equipped and has everything you need to cook up a treat! The first of the four bedrooms is a twin room, also on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room. A very useful utility room with butler sink, washing machine and tumble dryer can also be found on this level. On the first floor is the spacious master bedroom (double, twin on request) and an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom has 3 single beds and is next to the family bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Upstairs to the third floor is the fourth bedroom with 3 single beds and views across the rooftops with a shower room next to it. The wow factor of the house is the lounge with huge bifold doors to make the most of the exceptional view across the Solent and a large terrace, the perfect spot to enjoy a meal and watch the boats sail by. Leading from the lounge is a further terrace equipped with a bench for a morning coffee or deck chairs to relax. The house is located a few moment’s walk on Watch House lane which leads to the Esplanade for wonderful views of the bustling harbour and across The Solent. See the prestigious yacht clubs and, if you are lucky, hear the small cannon.
