About this property

Overlooking Oban Bay with stunning views, the family-run Palace Hotel boasts period features and a central location. With wonderful sea views, the Oban Ferry Terminal is only a 10-minute walk away. The cosy rooms are individually decorated and many offer views across the bay. All rooms have an en suite bathroom, tea/coffee facilities, a TV and radio. Full cooked and light breakfasts are served daily in the bright, airy dining room with its large-screen TV, and a small range of wines, spirits and soft drinks are also available in the lounge. - Advance booking required for breakfasts. The lounge/bar/dining area is situated on the first floor and features sea views, open fireplaces and a large screen TV. Just 5 minutes' walk from Oban Rail Station, The Palace is also a 15-minute walk from Glencruitten Golf Club. Fishing, horse-riding and sailing are all available nearby, and there is a selection of restaurants within walking distance. Please note the hotel has no lift.

Anne has been involved in the office side of equestrian sports for many years and many of the photos throughout the building have a story behind them which she like to share with the guests.

Neighbourhood information

We are fortunate that we are located just opposite the bay but it is difficult to find a more centrally located family run hotel in town with most things in town within a short walk.
