Ty Cefn Tregib (Welsh for "The house behind Tregib") is a converted barn, coach house and stables, formerly the outbuildings for Tregib Mansion, sadly now gone. It stands in a sheltered, secluded garden surrounded by woodland and fields, with open views across former parkland and the Towy Valley to Llandeilo. Spacious 1st floor B&B APARTMENT in the main house comprises a large living room with a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom which can be either a super-king-size double or twin beds. We are an extended family here at Ty Cefn Tregib, with three generations of the family living on site. Mary looks after the holiday accommodation whilst John is fully employed looking after the grounds and making sure everything works properly. We have lived at Ty Cefn Tregib for more than thirty years having converted it ourselves from a range of farm buildings, so everything on the property has touches of us about it and is continually evolving. We all love the place and love to share it with others. We have been providing B&B and self catering accommodation here at Ty Cefn Tregib for over 25 years. We all make great efforts to make our guests feel welcome and are very happy to share our local knowledge with them, but we are also very careful not to intrude onto our guests private space, so the rule is “we will leave you alone, but if there’s anything you want, or need to know, just come and ask, we will be glad to help you” Many of our guests come back year after year and are like old friends.
