Ty’r Ardd is located on the outskirts of Pendine Sands in a peaceful area, around 15 minute walk downhill into the centre of Pendine village and its 7 mile sandy beach. There are some lovely eateries, cafes and pubs as well as some convenience stores and watersports centre. Pendine is located on Carmarthen Bay, where there is a good choice of outdoor activities available in the area. Ranging from horse riding across the sandy beach or coasteering, to a variety of water sports, abseiling, orienteering, caving and gorge walking. There are many beautiful sandy beaches in Carmarthenshire and bordering Pembrokeshire, with the popular resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby. The Pembrokeshire Coastline has many fabulous walks, and Colby Woodland Gardens offers an enchanting woodland walk down to Amroth beach. There is an abundance of interesting attractions and days out locally, including Castles, historic houses and the National Botanical Gardens of Wales to name a few. For the younger generation we are a short drive away from the likes of Folly Farm, Oakwood, Manor House Wildlife Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Dinosaur Park.
