Located in Whichford, South Warwickshire, in the North Cotswolds, Wayside House B&B is situated opposite the Green, 100 yards from our very good pub, The Norman Knight, which is the hub of the village. The Guest House is situated near to the main house and is private and peaceful. Dogs are welcome for free. Guests can enjoy the garden, which is dog secure and has seating areas. As well as the one double/twin bedroom, which has a television, there is a bathroom with a bath/shower and a good sized sitting room. This contains a comfortable ‘L’ shaped sofa, a 42" flat screen television with 'Sky' and free WiFi. The kitchenette has a stocked fridge, sink, kettle and toaster, with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a microwave/oven for Guests to make their own cooked breakfast from the stocked fridge, as well as breads and cereals. There is private, off-road parking.
We have been doing Bed and Breakfast for 24 years. We look forward to welcoming you, with or without a dog! We are very happy to recommend places for you to visit.
The village of Whichford attracts many cyclists and walkers, we are on the Macmillan Way and very close to Shakespeare’s Way. We are very lucky to be surrounded by beautiful and unspoilt countryside. There is an excellent pub, The Norman Knight, 100 yards from the house. The Whichford Pottery and Straw Kitchen are in the village and well worth a visit. The Cotswolds Distillery is 1.6 miles away. There are many other popular and interesting places not too far away to enjoy. Both Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford Organic Farm are 10 miles away. Chipping Norton is 7 miles, with the most wonderful theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) in Stratford-upon-Avon is 18 miles. The beautiful city of Oxford is 27 miles. There are a couple of local Golf Courses and many lovely houses and gardens to spend the day strolling around. If you enjoy horse racing - Cheltenham is 1 hour, Warwick is 40 mins and Stratford-Upon-Avon is 1/2 an hour away.
We are 1 hour from Birmingham Airport; 1 hr 20 mins from Heathrow Airport; 2 hours from Gatwick Airport.
