Wee Silverburn is a delightful, white-washed cottage in a peaceful position in Whiting Bay on the Island of Arran. It retains many original features, including Canadian Maple flooring and wooden beams, and provides space for a warm, cosy holiday getaway. It has a newly refurbished kitchen, a living room/dining room, and a separate sitting room to relax after a good day out. The bathroom with a shower is downstairs. Upstairs, it is accessed via a traditional spiral staircase. There are three bedrooms upstairs: the main bedroom with a double bed and a clothing cupboard with hangers; a second double bedroom; and a third single bedroom accessed via the second bedroom. The latter bedrooms share a clothing cupboard with hangers. Oil central heating is throughout, and there is an open fire downstairs and an electric fire in the sitting room. Other attractive features include a carpeted spiral staircase, open fire, and well-tended gardens. Great local amenities, including restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops, are within walking distance. Please note that the spiral staircase could prove difficult for some people.
