Widehay Barn is nestled into the hillside of rural Devon, just beyond the boundary of Exmoor National Park. Once a simple field barn, it has been thoughtfully transformed into a welcoming holiday retreat, set within its own private plot of land. Now beautifully converted and fully equipped, it's the ideal spot whether you're planning to explore the great outdoors or simply unwind in comfort. Inside, you'll find three well-designed bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms, all arranged with care to offer a perfect balance of comfort and style. Large windows frame stunning views of the surrounding landscape, making it a place where you can truly relax and soak up the beauty of the countryside. Exmoor provides a great base for walking, cycling and exploring. There are also opportunities to ride, to play golf at the famous Saunton Sands Golf Course or to visit a number of outstanding gardens such as those at Marwood and RHS Rosemoor. It is also the place for anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the North Devon countryside. The surrounding area is within easy reach of Tarr Steps, The Chains – a wonderful place for the experienced walker – as well as the Tarka Trail, the North Devon coastal path, Woody Bay, the Valley of the Rocks, and the twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth. The beaches at Saunton and Croyde are also not far away. South Molton, the nearest town, is 4 miles away and has a local market on Thursday and a farmers market on Saturday. Barnstaple, North Devon’s main market town, with its famous Pannier Market and Butchers Row – excellent for both meat and locally caught fish, is within easy reach and offers a range of shopping facilities and other activities.
