Large 5 bed country house called Willow Ridge is set down a very quiet country lane, but set back off the main road. All rooms overlook the vast countryside. Very pleasant local walks, including the 250-acre nature reserve Folly Farm.

I've been an AirBnB Superhost since April 2022 and have loved welcoming new people to stay. I've had some wonderful feedback and met some great people... some of whom have regularly returned and now become friends. I started hosting through this site in November 2022. I have 2 grown up children; both my son and my daughter live away from home now. I have a very active social life, so would be grateful if you could give me a time of arrival, so that I can greet you personally, which is always my preference. 90% of the time, I am very flexible on arrival & check-out times. Just communicate your preferences with me so we can come to a mutually convenient schedule.

We are very much a countryside village setting, where it is rural and quiet, but very easy access to many local towns and cities... Bath 11.4 miles, Bristol 9.4 miles, Wells 11.5 miles, Glastonbury 17.5 miles, Bristol Airport 10.2 miles. There is a local regular bus service (bus stop 100 yards away), run by First Bus, with the 376 service offering direct public transport to Bristol in the north, and Wells & Glastonbury in the south. A new bus service now offers transport to Bristol in the north and Bath to the east, (although it does take a while to get to Bath as it goes through all the villages!) Timetables are available on the FIRST BUS app. I have put together a brochure of many local eating establishments which is available in each room for guests. Nearby – village pub, The Railway (walking distance). Next village to the south, Temple Cloud has a Chinese / fish & chip takeaway, a petrol station and a pub called The Temple Inn. Approx 5 minute drive to the north there is a Toby Carvery offering all you can eat breakfasts, carvery & a la carte dining. Various country village pubs all serving food around the area and plenty of choice of eateries in the quiet city of Wells, or the more bustling Bristol or Bath - all approx 20 mins away (but in opposite directions). Plenty of country walks, places to visit, Thermae Bath Spa and the beautiful city of Bath also approx 11 miles away.
