Andrew is the owner of Willowbeck Lodge. He's been running the business since 2013. He grew up in the area so he has first hand knowledge of what the region has to offer. He's a pretty hands-on guy, so you'll likely be met by him when you arrive, be served by him in the restaurant or he'll be making your breakfast in the morning. When he's not at Willowbeck, he loves spending time with his wife and young family. He's a keen cyclist so he has lot of routes to share to those looking to explore the area on two wheels.

Willowbeck Lodge is an award-winning family run boutique hotel, restaurant and gallery The bedrooms take their names from the trees that grow in the mature gardens that encompass the lodge - Willow, Ash, Beech, Oak, Hazel, Maple and Larch. All the rooms have been redecorated in the last 12 months to a high standard and feature; en-suite bathrooms, double, king or super king size beds, Egyptian cotton bedding and views over the garden and pond. Our larger premium rooms - Hazel, Ash, Willow, Hazel, Eva's and Oak, Our classic rooms Beech, Larch and Maple are smaller in size. Due the unique architecture of the lodge, our smaller rooms (in particular Beech and Maple) have sloping ceilings taller guests may find restrictive. Eva's is an annex, adjacent to the main house. Ideal for families with children (up the age of 15) it can sleep up to four. The Cedar garden suite is set among Willow trees and has its own open plan lounge plus two en-suite bedrooms. Its modern contemporary design takes Nordic inspiration and the interior is designed for privacy and with relaxed luxury in mind. PLEASE NOTE WE OPERATE A NO SMOKING POLICY ACROSS THE WHOLE SITE. Scotby is village on the outskirts of Carlisle. Two and a half miles from the City Centre it is one mile from junction 43 of the M6 motorway. Despite it's convenient location, Willowbeck sits nestled away in a quiet corner of the main village. The village of Scotby has a shop, a pub and a hairdressers all within 5 minutes walk of Willowbeck Lodge. There is a regular bus service to Carlisle from the village.
