Perched on a hillside in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, The Ro Hotel offers sweeping views of Lake Windermere and the dramatic Lake District landscape. Rooms & Accommodations The hotel features a wide range of stylish, modern rooms and suites, many with stunning lake-facing views. Every room includes an private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a Smart flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, and Eco Boutique toiletries. Selected rooms offer private balconies or bathtubs for an extra touch of luxury. The Ro is also pet-friendly, with ten dog-friendly rooms located on the ground floor. These must be booked directly with the hotel, and a fee of £25.00 per dog, per stay applies. Dining Guests can enjoy a generous buffet breakfast each morning, along with drinks from the bar. Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00. Hydro Wellness Club Unwind in the newly opened Hydro Wellness Club, complete with a state-of-the-art TechnoGym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, serene relaxation spaces overlooking the lake, and indulgent spa treatments using TEMPLESPA products. Please note that standard room bookings do not include access to the Wellness Club. Additional charges may apply, and advance reservation of time slots is required and subject to availability. The club is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. Children’s swimming hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 10:00, and Saturday to Sunday from 08:00 to 11:00. Additional Information Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is by 11:00. Limited on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at £7.50 per day, with additional public parking located nearby. We charge £25.00 per dog, per stay. Parking is £7.50 per car, per night. Wellness club facilities and treatments are not included in standard bookings.
