Located in a beautiful, tranquil situation in Evie, within 20 minute drive from main neolithic sites and the main town of Kirkwall, Woodwick Mill and Cottage offer the perfect base for your holday in Orkney. With a burn running alongside the Mill, and many different species of birds and other wildlife, you'll be happy never leaving the house. All the apartments are fully equipped and very comfortable and the hosts are onsite to offer advice or answer any questions on your visit to Orkney.
Although new owners of this property, Callum and Fiona have many years experience of running self catering lets and are keen to maximise the visitor's holiday experience.
We are about 20 minutes drive from main historical sites such a the Ring of Brodgar, Skara Brae and Maeshowe. Closer by is the Brough of Gurness which is less well known but one of our favourite sites.
In the nearby village of Evie, there is a local shop supplying lots of Orkney products and also Eviedale Bakehouse & Bistro offering the best sourdough pizzas.
The main town of Kirkwall is a 20 minute drive where you can find an award winning highstreet full of local shops offering jewellery, whisky and other local produce. St Magnus Cathedral is a must visit.
