Set by a river, this Lakeland YHA in Borrowdale Valley has fine mountain views and an informal atmosphere. Enjoy family-friendly walks, laundry facilities and hot meals. YHA Borrowdale is a recommended stop on Wainwright’s Coast to Coast Walk. Bustling Keswick is about 7 miles away. On site you will find a cycle store and free parking. Indoor activities including a games room and TV lounge. Cumbrian ales and fresh meals are available, plus cosy log fires in winter. Whinlatter Forestry Centre is 10 miles away and offers a Go Ape course as well as walking and mountain-biking trails. The majority of rooms contain bunk beds.
