This area is home to the Margiani family, one of the oldest and most well-known families in Svaneti. Our guesthouse offers comfortable, private rooms—each with its own bathroom, heating for the winter months, and naturally cool temperatures in summer. Washing machine and ironing desk are available at any time. Whether you’re here for skiing, hiking, or simply relaxing, you’ll find everything you need for a pleasant stay. Please note that reaching the guesthouse requires a short uphill walk—about 15 minutes from the city center. The path includes a steep, stone-paved section. During winter, the road can be slippery, and a 4x4 vehicle with winter tires is essential if you're arriving by car. While the road may be a bit of a challenge, the peaceful setting and panoramic views at the top are well worth the effort. Next to the Guesygouse is the Margiani house-museum with an open tower, climbing which you can panoramically view the mountains and look into the open sky. Near the guesthouse there is a mountain spring. Several shops and a food market are within walking distance. We organize car trips to waterfalls, a glacier, ski lifts and outdoor picnics.
