I am a hospitality graduate and currently working in retail management. I am married with three sons and two daughters and living in the UK but frequently visit The Gambia where I still have my extended family. The Brufut Gardens is located in a very lush environment. The main landmarks are the Taf Estate, the Coral Beach hotel, the lovely sandy beaches and the Tanji fish market and the Tanji Bird Reserve. There are a couple or so beach bars, a stone's throw from Nabixx Residence. The property is located a short, FEW minutes walk to the local Brufut market. Here you can sample the various fresh fruits and vegetables being offered by the local vendors. There are a couple of local shops and a pharmacy close to the compound. There are various shops and mini markets, cafes, restaurants, bars and local food outlets situated a short drive away from the Nabixx Residence. Fancy a walk down to the Madiba Mall? The Brusubi round-about is ten or so minutes drive away. Here you can flag a taxi or join the locals in many of the "Gele Gele" transports, to visit the airport area, Serre-kunda (the biggest town in The Gambia) with its famous market and shops, the Senegambia strip with its collection of hotels, boutiques, restaurants and night clubs. After all that adventure through the buzzling town and markets, that beach escapade and visits to those nature reserves, or whatever form you have spent the day doing - you can always come back to the tranquillity of the Nabixx Residence and its surrounding to recharge those batteries in readiness for another day of excitement un the Gambian SUN.
