A fully renovated house in the picturesque village of Kato Garouna, one of the most traditional settlements of Corfu. It is located about in the center of the island and as a consequence the distance from every place is less than 90 minutes, 15 km from Corfu Town and the airport and 17 km from the port. Also, the location is ideal for someone who wants to combine the view of mountain and sea. Within less than 3 km there is Agios Gordios beach, one of the most wonderful of the island, on it’s western side, where you can sit in one of the numerous beach bars or restaurants, which are open till late in the night. Other than that, given that the village is located in the foothills of the mountain of Saint Panteleimon, you can reach it’s top by car or by foot, by having just a 20minutes’ walk, where you can enjoy a 360 view of the island, drinking a coffee in one small cottage of ours, ideally early in the morning or late in the afternoon, thus enjoying the spectacular and romantic sunset. Furthermore, if you want to reach Corfu Town without using your car, there is public transportation by bus three times a day, or even more frequently, starting from Agios Gordios beach. Regarding the village, there is a traditional restaurant, one grill room, two minimarkets, four cafeterias and a traditional bakery with a wood oven where you can buy freshly baked bread. Also, especially during the summer, you can take part in the festivities/cultural events taking place in the village, or visit the olive oil museum and the traditional loom exhibition. As far as the house is concerned, there is ample space to park your car, as it is not located in the center of the village but within a distance of 400m from the central square.
