A three bedroom house, located at the beautiful traditional village of SPILIA which is only 3 km from the beach of Kolymbari and 25 km from the center of the Chania city . The house .features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living & dinning room, fully equipped modern kitchen, big private garden, parking, free Wi-Fi. Visitors can enjoy the “sound” of silence at the garden away from the noise of cities and delight the beautiful sea and white mountain view. The name of the house "APITHANO" in Greek has two meanings, one of them is impossible and the other is amazing.The house has been recently renovated in order to manage to adjust to the modern way of living and in parallel to keep its unique traditional (URL HIDDEN) it was "impossible" to be mad but the result is "amazing" It is a two storey house but because of the outside landscape each floor can be "considered" to be ground floor. Downstairs there are two bedrooms,one with three and one with two single beds which share a bathroom. Upstairs there is one big bedroom with king size bed and its own bathroom .Also there is the kitchen area with the living room which share the outside veranta and garden with view to the sea and mountain The pool can be heated from September up to May on demand and with an extra cost (25 euros per day). A cover must be used while your stay in order to maintain the water in the desired temperature 27 Celcious

I love travelling around the world with my motorbike and not only. What I want from the places I go, is to see the real life of local people, eat local food and not only visit the tourist places . This is what I am trying to do through the Apithano to my guests

-The house is situated at a neighborhood at the edge of the village at one of the highest points giving it the views to the sea and the white mountains. A couple of other houses around are permantenly inhabited and a couple more are inhabited frequently from their owners who lives at the city of chania or other cities -A small supermarket is situated at only 1 Km away, with the first big one to be only 3 Km away. -A very nice taverna is only about 300 meters from the house offering nice food at an excellent place to relax below the huge plane trees. The Spilia village is -3 Km from the nearest beach of Kolympari -25 Km from the Chania city center -has instant access (2Km) to the national road leading from one to the other side of Crete - 15 Km from the well known Platanias -around the area there are a numerous of great beaches, with a couple of them (BALOS, ELAFONISSI) to be voted again and again among the best in the world. -the region has for sure to offer a lot more than nice beaches such as the gorge of Deliana, hiking routes , the inland of Chania
