The spacious veranda of Casa Tomazo is a place of pure relaxation: from the comfort of the armchairs, you can enjoy the sea breeze, gaze at the horizon, and take in the vibrant green landscape, like a living painting. In the garden, you'll find fragrant herbs such as oregano, sage, and rosemary — small touches of scent and simplicity that elevate your stay. Casa Tomazo has been lovingly renovated with respect for the island’s traditional architecture, preserving the warm and familiar feeling of an old Corfiot home. Its name is a personal tribute: "Tomazo" was my grandfather’s nickname, with Italian roots — a nod to the long Venetian influence that has shaped Corfu’s unique identity and culture. Its central location is ideal for exploring every corner of the island — from the lush north and the wild western coasts to the tranquil southern landscapes. Just 1 km away lies the picturesque fishing village of Benitses, full of life, with seaside tavernas, cafés, and a vibrant yet traditional atmosphere. Here, you're not just staying in a house. Hi, wonderful guests! I'm Fay — my father is from Corfu, my mother is from Athens, and I currently live in Athens. I'm a psychologist, and over the past few years, I’ve lovingly renovated my little house on the island — my personal paradise, as I like to call it whenever I visit for a few days of peace and nature. It brings me so much joy to welcome guests from all over the world to Casa Tomazo. I'm always touched when people feel the same unique atmosphere and serenity that I experience there. I truly enjoy connecting with my guests, helping them feel at home, and sharing tips so they can discover the beauty of Corfu in their own way.

Just a short distance from the house lies the charming seaside village of Benitses, full of life and flavors. You'll find several excellent restaurants serving authentic Corfiot cuisine — among them, two local favorites: Paxinos, known for its traditional meat dishes, and Klimataria, a beloved spot for seafood lovers. In the evening, the Benitses marina becomes a peaceful place to enjoy a drink with atmospheric music and a view of the boats under the stars. A little uphill from Casa Tomazo is my village, Gastouri — a true gem of Corfiot charm, where you can wander through narrow, cobbled alleys and admire the Venetian architecture that defines the area. It’s also home to the Achilleion Palace, the iconic residence built by Empress Sisi, and one of Corfu’s most famous landmarks. In the heart of the village, you’ll also discover Taverna Elia, a lovely place to enjoy delicious food in a serene setting.
