This ground floor apartment accommodates up to 6 persons, has a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, oven & burners and a variety of pots and pans, plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils, a toaster, a coffee machine, plus a m/w oven. Also available, are spices and herbs (some from our own garden!), extra virgin olive oil and vinegar, coffee and sugar, homemade jam and our sweet, strong red wine! Ironing and beach equipment (umbrellas, straw mats), hair and body shower products, a first aid kit, with anti-mosquito spray and house cleaning equipment are also provided. Free wifi indoors and outdoors. Additionally, it offers great views of the sea and the centre of the village and has a front yard w/ bbq. The bedrooms and living rooms all have a/c, but you may want to enjoy the summer breeze, leaving the windows open, with just the protective bug screens. It's located right in the centre of the traditional village of Pelekas, at approximately 300m altitude, just a few steps from S/M, restaurants, ATM & bus station to Corfu town. Is a 20' drive to Corfu town & a very short drive to some of the best sandy beaches of Corfu. There's a free municipal parking area 20m away.

Hi! I am Yannis! I studied computer science and lived and worked in Athens for many years, until I got tired of the big city's frantic way of life and decided to relocate in my tranquil and picturesque village of Pelekas, on the island of Corfu. I remodelled my two family apartments and the outdoor spaces of the property in order to welcome visitors from Greece and all over the world that want to get to know this beautiful island. While doing so, I have thought of anything I would need and enjoy if I, myself, was a visitor and judging from my guests' feedback so far, I guess I succeeded. I love meeting new people and hosting is more than a profession to me, it's become my new way of life! Can't wait to meet you, too! 🙂

A few metres from the apartments, there is a small basket/tennis/volleyball court. Near the village, there is the Ermones Golf Club and also a horse riding centre. Many hiking paths are near or around the village for those who seek to get in touch with the natural beauty of Corfu island. The village itself is very beautiful and worth a walk, up to "Keizer's Throne", where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the whole of Corfu, plus the most amazing sunset you will ever see!!!
